Guidelines are straightforward enough — Chaudiere Books seeks both full manuscripts of poetry and fiction. Preference will be given to Ottawa-area authors, but other Canadian submissions will certainly be considered as well. For poetry, full manuscripts are fine; for fiction, the first twenty pages only with a paragraph of overview (if more is needed more will be requested). Please query for non-fiction projects before sending. Chaudiere Books is interested in looking at manuscripts dealing with the historical aspects of the Pontiac area of Quebec, as well as the Ottawa area, and Glengarry County, Ontario (no picture books). Please query for such.

Unsolicited submissions sent over email will be automatically deleted, and submissions without appropriate s.a.s.e. will not be responded to.
